During my recent business trip to Shirahama, I found myself at Senjoarashi, a good spot in the Shirahama Onsen district. As an archaeologist, I often need my comforts, and this guesthouse delivered with air-conditioned rooms that featured flat-screen TVs-perfect for unwinding after a day of meetings. A standout aspect was the free shuttle service to nearby attractions, making it easy for me and my colleague to explore local sites, including the Kishu Museum of Art. The hot tub was a welcome treat for relaxation after long discussions, while the free WiFi kept me connected for work. If you're venturing out, car hire is available, but I appreciated the valet parking option, which made managing our schedule hassle-free. Senjoarashi struck a perfect balance between comfort and convenience, which I highly recommend to anyone traveling to this beautiful part of Japan.
